Wine. Music. A good cause.

Join me Wednesday to support a very important cause. Wine to Water is a non-profit organization focused on providing clean water to needy people around the world. It’s a monumental task, but at Social Wine Bar on July 20th, from 8 to 10 p.m., you can help out while enjoying a fun evening. Come partake of top quality beverages, food, and music provided by Yours Truly, along with good friend and talented singer-songwriter Erin Johns.

Lack of access to clean water for drinking and sanitation is one of the biggest global issues we face. According to the World Health Organization, over three and a half million people die each year from water-related illnesses. 884 million people lack access to safe water supplies. It’s not something we as American’s think about very often, when we are so used to turning a spigot and having a seemingly-unlimited supply of fresh drinkable aqua. Much of the world’s population doesn’t enjoy that luxury, though, and that’s why fundraising events like this are so important. Your $20 admission and participation in the silent auction will not only contribute directly towards bringing fresh water to those who need it, but will help raise awareness locally.

So come on, drink some wine. Raise money for water. Hear some music.
